Power Outage Protocol
During power outages I am notified by our alarm company that our pumps have no power. I am also notified by CMP.
I respond as quickly as I can to go to the pump house to reset the drivers, which is an easy fix. I usually answer the call from the on-call service on my trip to the pump house. Please do not call or text my cell phone as I already have my hands full and the driving is dangerous during a storm. The water emergency line can and should still be used. I usually let the on-call sevice know I am aware of the problem and they will let people know when they call in.
